My friends and I went to Portobello Market recently and hit up all of the vintage jewelry shops starting from the Notting Hill underground station. I have a friend that is about to get married and was wanting to buy each of her bridesmaids a brooch as a gift.

We stopped in here and straight away my friend found items that she liked and ended up buying two brooches. The person helping was very kind and really listened to my friend and helped her to stay within her budget.

Another friend that came along ended up buying a bracelet as well...it is soo tempting in there. If you like antique jewelry, beware...it is tough to leave without purchasing something.

I would absolutely recommend going here if you want to buy gifts or something for yourself that is eclectic and one of a kind. The people helping you will be honest and friendly and won't pressure you to buy something that you cannot afford.
