This place is really neat. I know several people that don't like it, but it is because they aren't really into the alternative scene at all. I find it quite entertaining, so I do enjoy this market from time to time.

This is the place that you can find anything that could be more difficult to find in regular stores, and it will most likely be sold at a much cheaper price. I went here one day to shop for a new nose screw. There are so many various tattoo/body piercing shops in this part of London that you are guaranteed to find something you like.

The vendors also sell a lot of different products, for instance crazy make up or brightly colored socks, hats, jewelry. There is also plenty of goth gear to go around!! The Camden Town Market is probably the most known market in London. It happens on weekends from 9am to 7pm but many shops, bars and restaurants stay open during the week. The market is on Camden High Street very close to the Camden Town underground Station. Anyways if you seem a little lost all you have to do is follow the flow of people coming out of the tube.

Before going to the Camden Town Market I advise you to check out these two Internet sites:

www.stablesmarket.com
www.camdenlockmarket.com

The first one is on the Stables Market which has all the different food stands, bars and good restaurants. The second on the Camden Lock Market is more for accessories, jewellery and hand-crafted items.
Both markets are very different and are both worth a visit.

This market is one of the biggest tourist attractions in the whole of London. The market is not only a destination for tourists but also for locals, food freaks, tattoo freaks, jewellery lovers... I really encourage you to visit it, stroll around let yourself go and join the eclectic vibe.

If someone says they know London well ask them if they have gone to the Camden Town Market if not they have no idea what London is all about...
