Hair by Ferry

This place was recommended to me by a friend. I was looking for a cheap place to get a hair cut. This place was absolutely the ticket if you are looking for a budget hairdo. I only paid 13 pounds for a cut.

In order to keep costs low, the Hair by Ferry salon is walk in only, and you are not able to choose your hairdresser. You are in and out very quickly, and if you are a girl...don't expect them to do your hair afterward. I believe the stylist just blow dried my hair enough so it wasn't dripping wet. Don't show up 30 minutes before they close, because most likely they will turn you away, just as they did me the first time I went!!

All in all the place is good if you don't want something fancy done. I would be wary if you wanted something more complex such as highlights, perms, or some drastic change to your current style. This place is perfect if you just want an all around trim. Don't expect to come out of this place with a really superb quality hair cut.

According to the website, Hair By Ferry offers a lot more than just hair cuts, but I have not tried any of their other offerings. The place is located in Neal's Yard in the Covent Garden area. Neal's Yard is this neat little cove located right off of Neal Street, at the intersection of Shorts Gardens.
