I was excited to try this place as I really really really LOVE hummus. It was rather empty when we went, at certain points we were the only customers in the entire place, a bit surprising for a Tuesday afternoon in Soho...but the service was very good and attentive which is nice for a change!!

The selections all start out with hummus as the base. You can get small or large portions and choose the toppings you want. Everything also comes with a slice or two of pita, and there are extra sides that you can order...so you can pretty much get anything you want with your hummus.

The main criticism I have of this place is that they only use one type of hummus, the only thing you can change is the toppings that go on it. I was really looking forward to trying different flavors of hummus...but oh well.

Everything was slightly expensive for what I felt you ended up getting. It wasn't absurd, but as hummus is quite cheap, it seemed like our meal should have been a bit cheaper when we paid.

I would certainly go back again if I were in the area and was hungry, although I don't know if is the place for everyone. I think the only reason why I'd go back is because I like hummus sooo much, so I know I'll finds something that I like.

I had no idea what Hummus was until a friend of mine brought me to the Hummus Bros restaurant on Wardour Street. So first of all what is Hummus? Well here’s the recipe that I learnt at the restaurant: basically it’s crushed up chick peas (before I never new what chick peas could be used for) and tahini (sesame seed paste) after you add a little lemon juice and garlic. That’s the basic hummus then you can add different things and once it’s all set you dip some pita bread in it and enjoy! A good thing about Hummus is that it’s very healthy and cheap! And of course it’s delicious!
Oh yeah and for general knowledge Hummus is the Arabic word for chickpeas! Eating at the Hummus Bros is great for your culinary knowledge I learnt so much in one single meal!
