People's opinions
I had a hard time finding a place here in London where they would dance Salsa and give Salsa lessons for beginners. So I searched and I searched and finally I was randomly talking to a friend of mine about dancing and he told me that he would go to this Salsa bar so I tried it out. I was really pleased; I had found THE place I was looking for!
Salsa! is not only a place for beginners there are many people with a very good level who dance here. Its a really good thing to learn you can look and try to make the same moves or if you have the courage dance with someone who knows what he/she is doing. That’s what I did, at the beginning it was a little hard and annoying for the good dancer but after going like 4 or 5 times I have learnt a few moves things work a lot more and the partner can dance normally without me stepping on her shoes.
It's also a great confidence thing, when you get better and better at dancing you see it pretty fast and your confidence just boosts right up. To get a decent level I would advise you to go to a few lessons something like 5 or 6 and then don't forget to practice after the lesson with different partners that’s when you really learn.
The Salsa lessons for beginners are given on Fridays between 6.30pm and 8.30pm and also on Sundays between 7pm and 8pm. The lessons are free if you buy a drink, I like the concept!
Salsa! is also a restaurant but I haven't tried it I just go for the dancing!
