Cafe Gallipoli

I was searching for a place to smoke a nargile in Angel and finally found it on Upper Street a little north of Angel. The Gallipoli Bazaar is a funny like decorated café where you can smoke the Nargile and drink tea while listening to music. However even if this place has all the ingredients to be a cool chill out place they some how managed to make it pretty unpleasant to be there. First of all the music is too loud; you have to scream to be able to be heard and with the smoke you’re sure to come out of the place with a sore throat and secondly the tea her is bitter and to be able to drink it you have to put more than 4 tea spoons of sugar… Luckily the smoking part is good… I feel that they just thought that by combining smoking, tea and loud chill out music they could make a great place but there’s a little more to it then just that.... read more
