Sangria

Just between Highbury Islington and Angel you'll find a great little tapas bar called Sangria.

I lived for a while close to Highbury Islington and when I would take the bus from the centre to go home I'd some times have to get off at Angel depending on the bus and walk the rest of the way home. Each time I would do so I would pass in front of this Sangria Spanish restaurant but would never go in. It's funny how you never know those bars or restaurants that you always pass in front of. So I decided to go in and have a dinner there to see what it was worth…

I was really pleased when I got in, it’s decorated like an authentic Spanish restaurant and the atmosphere is authentic too. The main dish here are tapas so that's what I chose. During the week you can get two dishes for the price of 6,25£ I ended up having four dishes and finished it all!
The tapas where pretty good I had one of jamon iberico (ham), one tortilla, another of cheese and one of potatoes. I though I was going to explode! But it was definitely worth it!

And of course what you have to do is have a glass of Sangria, how could you go to a place called Sangria and not have a glass of Sangria?
