Whole Foods is a very popular organic food store in the US. This place is the grocery store for organic and special food products...ranging from exotic fruits and vegetables to special gluten free breads, to vegan cookies and pastries...

Whole Foods is not known for being cheap. Be prepared to spend more on a box of cereal or carton of juice here than you would elsewhere. The quality however is never disappointing and if you have a specific cheese or special dietary need, Whole Foods most likely will have what you need.

This is also a great place for a quick bite to eat. They have a lot of prepared soups and potato salads, pasta salads...sandwiches...all of which are made with organic products. If you are nearby and need a takeaway, this place might have just what you were craving!

Whole Foods also has a wine tasting once a week on Thursdays (I think). So if you enjoy trying new wines, or if you don't know anything about wine but are willing to try, you should think about spending an evening trying it out at Whole Foods.

London already has a decent variety of specialty food shops, and Borough Market is by far a lot more fun that this place. However, if you are near Kensington High Street and are in need of a special product, Whole Foods is worth checking out.
