It is true that there is not a lot going around in Pimlico but while I was strolling around in the neighbourhood I did find this great English Pub/restaurant. Even if there was not one tourist in the Chimes I would have seen the place like a great tourist destination; the food is typically English. I had a Bangers and Mash which is the well known sausage and mashed potatoes. As for the drink there is a large selection of ciders, I really advise you to try the pear cider which is original and delicious. The servers are extremely nice here at Chimes and the bill is not excessive even if you are in one of the poshiest neighbourhoods of London.
Next time I have friends coming to visit me I’ll definitely bring them to the Chimes.
