Gordon's Wine Bar

The Wine Bar is impressive it is as if you are in the wine cellar! The atmosphere here is very “professional wine tasting” of course there’s no one spitting the wine back into a bucket like professional tasters but you can definitely tell that people who come here really appreciate wine and know what they’re drinking.
As for myself I’m not a specialist but I can appreciate a good wine or a Sherry.
You can have a little something to eat for less than 10 pounds it really isn’t advised to drink with an empty stomach that’s what I did at the beginning and after half an hour and a few glasses I was starting to loos my balance! But once I ate I could focus perfectly again :-).
We were there on a rainy day so we couldn’t sit down at the terrace but if you go there when it’s sunny I highly recommend it.
So if you’re a wine specialist or if you’re like me and don’t know much but just appreciate good wine well Gordon’s Wine Bar is a place you’re going to want to visit.

The Gordon's Wine Bar will be packed at the exit of working time and will be filled with business men with loosened ties coming to relax after a hard day of work. Here there are no surprises the specialty is wine! The wine comes from all over the world but I'd say that there is a strong tendency for french wines. You can get wines from a large range of prices depending on the type and the age of the wine but if you're not after a Bordeaux from 1980 the prices stay quite reasonable. You can eat some olives, bread and some cheese to go with your wine.
