The Dickens Inn

The Dickens Inn is a pub situated right next to the Katharine’s Dock on the north bank. I was strolling around Katharine’s Dock for over half an hour trying to find the pub Prospect of Whitby, I had heard so much about it and of the incredible view you have there but I was turning in circles and it was probably freezing temperature so I decided to go into the first good looking pub from the outside I could find and it was Dickens Inn.
The Dickens Inn was very well heated so I was very pleased at first and plus the decoration kind of makes the place cosy and inviting. The waiter who could see that I was freezing was really nice and once I sat down he took the order and I asked for a pint and pizza, I didn’t want to take any risks by ordering anything fancy.
I thought I wasn’t taking any risks but actually the pizza was too thick, way over cooked and very over priced. I was pretty disappointed everything was going perfectly well up to there. I didn’t even finish my pizza I took my time to finish my pint and to heat up a little and latter actually went and bought a bagel in a shop a little further next to Wapping Wall because I was still a hungry after the half pizza!
After buying the Bagel I found the initial pub I was looking for… I should have searched a little longer for it.
