AS if this place needs any introduction. If you are a history buff this is the place to see, if you were to ask most tourists they are going to say they came to London just to visit the Tower of London. See where the crown jewels are housed and stand on the very grounds of where there were three queens executed.! After visiting there, you can talk a brisk walk through the area to the Towers exhibit, and also check out information on the Tower Bridge's architect, Horace Jones, and engineer, John Wolfe The Bridge was the only place that you were able to cross the river for a very long time and it is considered a tourist ritual to visit and cross the bridge, now there is a tunnel that crosses to the other side, that was erected and opened in 1994.
When visiting the Tower of London, please plan to pay a small exhibit fee, and grounds fee. This is a large tourist attraction that requires much upkeep, and when you visit you will see that every dime (our Pound) spent will be well worth the expense. You are not going to experience many other sites as this one.... read more

This is definitely a must see when you come to London! Although the premise of the place is quite grim, it really gives you such an interesting insight to the way things were back when the tower was operating.

I would recommend doing the Yeoman Warder tour, which is included in the price of the admission ticket. They will tell you funny (and somewhat gory at times) stories about the Tower of London. They dress in their traditional garb and normally have humorous personalities. The tours happen about every half hour and last about 1 hour, and start at the main entrance of the Tower.

The Tower of London is also the place where the crown jewels are stored. They are under armed guard in the Jewel House, and are the greatest working collection of Crown Jewels in the world! They really are the ongoing symbol of the wealth and prestige of the British Monarchy and are definitely worth a peak!

The ticket prices vary with the season ranging from £16-£17 per adult. Students do receive a small discount, and children can enter for around £10. If you purchase your tickets online, there is usually about a £1 discount per adult ticket. Although this might seem expensive, if you've never been to London this place really should be included on your list of things to do while you visit.

There is a lot to offer at the Tower of London, and I have only hit a very small portion of it in this review. To be to that you fully appreciate all that it offers, it would be... read more

The London Tower is located just on the on the north bank of the river Thames next to the Tower Bridge, you can’t miss it. I think the best view you will get of the London Tower is from the South bank, that’s where all the photos are taken.
The London Tower Bridge was built by William the Conqueror in 1078 to protect the city and it was also used as a prison for royal prisoners. You can visit the museum of the Tower, it’s really worth the detour. The price is quite expensive but it doesn't stop the tourists, I heard that more than 2 million people come and visite the Tower each year!
