The Sarastro is a beautiful restaurant it has the most original decoration I’ve ever seen in a restaurant! It give the place a great atmosphere and is perfect for a romantic dinner with your loved one.
The food here is Oriental as I’m not a great specialist and as I didn’t want to take any crazy risks I chose the specialty of the house which was the Sarastro chicken, and it was delicious! It was prepared with raisins and orange sauce.
The Sarastro is actually very well known for it’s small opera performances on S read more
This is an honest little restaurant, perfect if you’re looking for something original to go to with a group of friends. When I went we were 5people and we first of all had pizza express in our minds and as we were walking to the restaurant we came upon l’Artist Musclé and were seduced by the looks of this charming little Paris like restaurant. So we decided to leave the pizzas for another night and eat French for a change. I don’t regret it at all we had a great time there. We took a seat downstairs as it was quite fu read more
The Punjab is a nice little Indian restaurant I especially like the decoration of the place. The outside is bright blue and the inside is all built of wood which makes it very warm.
The food is great, not the best Indian I’ve had in London but very good and for a decent price.
The Punjab is almost always full and mainly of tourists so I’d advise you to make a reservation before going.

Now here’s a good little Italian restaurant that makes wood fire oven cooked pizzas! The truth is that I haven’t found many like this one in London especially because places like pizza express dominate the market so much it is good to have some diversity with these little Italian restaurants.
Everything is so Italian here; the decoration, the food, the wine, the waiters and of course the boss well at least I think that the guy who brings you to your seat and who talks to most of the customers is the boss. It is very pl read more
Simpson’s in the Strand is known by most people and especially people around Charing Cross and Covent Garden so if you’re lost just ask someone, who doesn’t have a camera and looks like a tourist ;-).
Simpson’s in the Strand was founded in 1828 at that moment women were not allowed in and that lasted quite a long time! The place is impressive everything is in wood and on the right side of the room you can see tables where the clients used to play chess, before Simpson’s in the Strand was THE place to come to play read more
Crusting Pipe is not only a wine bar however I tend to come here only for the bar side. You can get wine by the bottle or by glass but it’s a little more expensive. I really like the place there’s a good vibe especially on the terrace and once in a while there are musicians that play.
Not bad at all compared to all the tourist traps in Covent Garden

William Curley is very well known in the UK for his chocolate he actually got the prize of the best chocolate of the whole country! What’s funny here is that most of the people here in the café and in the line ups are Japanese, it seems like they’re crazy for William Curley chocolate. Someone told me that they do publicity in Japan to get the clients before they leave the country like in the airport I don’t know if that’s true but at least it would explain some things!
I must admit that the chocolate is delicious b read more
Originally Richoux was a French café but with the years it has become more and more English and today I seen any French influence in it apart from the name.
The decoration is very old school with old flower tapestry and nice chandeliers and it give the place a smart look.
Richoux is THE place to have a cream tea it is extremely expensive but it is definitely worth trying it out, it’s a once in a lifetime thing.
You can’t miss the Richoux café the front wall is red and it is on Piccadilly at number 172.

This is the most prestigious and most known Opera house in London but also the most expensive… if you want a little hint to get cheaper seats what you have to do is buy the returned tickets but you can only do so on the same day as the performance you want to see if you’re lucky you can get a ticket for only 25 pounds. Also you’re not the only one who knows about this so be fast! If not you can buy the tickets on their website for the normal price, you'll see that at some moments it is overloaded because there are so m read more
