I would say that the Oakley hotel is closer to a Bed and Breakfast than to a hotel. But this is not a bad thing especially because the prices are reasonable for the neighbourhood. The owners are young and have done a very good job; the place is very fancy and extremely clean.
As I was saying the Oakley hotel is quite cheap for the neighbourhood; we got a double bed room for 60 pounds and with breakfast.
The Oakley is definitely a good place to stay and I will probably be doing so next time I come to London.

The Stockpot is a restaurant chain which is known for it’s high quality price ratio and this one next to Sloane Square is not an exception. However this one is quite posh compared to the other ones it is probably because of the neighbourhood but there is not harm to that. The place is really nice there are painting and photos on the walls.
As for the food at the Stockpot they offer English and Mediterranean dishes like paella, etc. And for those who wake up late they still serve the English breakfast until 6pm.

This is the first entirely Organic pizzeria I have every seen! So of course when I was passing in front of the restaurant (next to South Kensington Station) I didn’t have a choice but to go in!
The Organic Pizza offers you pizzas and pasta entirely GMO free and only made with organic products! The pizzas are also cooked in a wood fire oven and are delicious! This place has nothing to do with a Pizza Express or some other pizza chain, this one is delicious and you can be sure of the high quality! The wine at Organic Pizza read more
Right next to South Kensington so right in the heart of the French expat community you’ll find this little French restaurant called La Bouchée. As my best friend who is French recommended this place to me I was sure that I wasn’t taking any risks.
La Bouchée is a typical little French restaurant from the heart of Paris, the place looks typical, the food is French, the wine is French and even the waiters are all French.
No surprises the food and the wine here are delicious. I took a confit de canard (which is duck) read more
The Nag’s Head is a typical English pub that everyone should check out. It’s a little hard to find it is in a small road that comes from Wilton Square.
The atmosphere here is great and typically English, I always bring my foreign friends here so they can get a taste of a real English pub. The Nag’s head has hardly got any windows and the cell phones have to be turned off it really gives something special to the place. Anyways there is so much noise with everyone talking that you probably wouldn’t even hear your cel read more
It’s really hard to get a cheap entry at the Royal Albert Hall, as the prices can go from 5 pounds to over 100 pounds! Everyone is fighting for the cheap ones. To get the cheap ones what you have to do is line up behind the Royal Albert Hall and be very very patient. Once you’re in you’ll have no regrets the place is incredible and the concerts will be a big moment of your life.
The Royal Albert Hall is also known for the summer proms which happen every night from mid-July to mid-September and the concerts are re-tra read more
The Hummingbird Bakery in South Kensington is the little sister of the famous one in Notting Hill. I’m a big fan of high quality Bakeries and the Hummingbird is definitely a trap I love getting caught in! My favourite is the carrot cake which you probably will want to eat on one of the tables they’ve got there because it is three levels high and has a lot of cream in it in other words there is no clean and proper way to eat it. The cup cakes and the fairy cakes are also delicious even if they tend to put a little too muc read more
The Atlas is right next to the West Brompton tube station, when you get out of the station it is the first road on your left. You can miss the place there are numerous plants climbing up the front wall. The inside isn’t as interesting as the outside the atmosphere is very not too special pub like but the staff is very generous. The Atlas really becomes an interesting destination in summer when you can eat on the terrace apart from that I’d say it hasn’t got much more to offer then any other pub. read more
The Brompton Cemetery has become a great place to stroll around and pass a nice summer afternoon. Now you are even allowed to come in with your bike. You’ll probably see some squirrels and crows which fit in perfectly into the cemetery atmosphere. For those who know Beatrix Potter the famous children book writer he got his inspiration here with the different names on the graves. read more
The St Christopher’s Sheperd’s Bush is a chain of hotels and this one in W12 is not the best I have been to. The thing is that the neighbourhood doesn’t have anything to offer and plus the hotel is on a junction in construction and from the hotel you can hear quite a lot of noise. A good thing is that the tube station Sheperd’s Bush isn’t too far from the hotel. However inside I would say that the hotel is very similar to any other St Christopher’s. The prices vary between 17,50 and 21,50 pounds the toilets and s read more
