            Prowler
You can basically get anything you want in this shop: clothes, books, dvds, magazines, accessories, gifts, and lots more... I come here especially to buy underclothes as it is quite cheap and there is a very broad choice. There is also a huge library with a superb collection on the homosexual community. This is the type of shop where you can stroll for hours and hours and not get bored. read more
            Heaven
Now at Heaven there are three good nights a week you've got the Saturday night which is good for heavy clubbers who like house and very commercial music. On Mondays its Popcorn night which is mostly dominated by the student category this is actually the only night I have attended to. The drinks are very cheap some are actually under 2 pounds! And the last evening that is really worth going to is on Wednesdays called Work they have a good facebook page called "The Wonderful World of Work! (Wednesdays @ Heaven)" that is defini read more
            The Edge
Probably the most known gay bar in the whole of London. With it's 4 different levels and it's unique placement on the Soho square it is also one of the most impressive bars. The interior is very trendy, chic and well designed. It is an ideal place to start your night off as many other bars and clubs are extremely close to Soho square. Even if this bar is considered as a gay bar almost half of the people are straight but just come because the atmosphere is unique. It is also a big target for tourists so if you'll go y read more
            Bar Code
This is a really nice bar it's probably one of my favourites in Soho. Not as impressive as the Edge it's more discrete, the atmosphere is a lot better and people are less pretentious. Very often there are organised parties in the basement and especially on Tuesdays there is the famous Comedy Camp, check out their website: www.comedycamp.co.uk. I must say that BarCode is a sort of pickup bar, not everyone would say the same but I really think that people come here almost only to meet new people. You'll find BarCode i read more
            Ku Bar
I think I'm already too old for this place but if you're under 25 this is the place you have to go to. The Ku Bar has always been packed whenever I went and the music is quite loud. It's in the middle of everything (Covent Garden, Soho and ChinaTown) so it's also a great place to start the night off. Quite often they organise a karaoke which is always good fun. There's another Ku bar not too far on Charing Cross Road. read more
The King's College offers it's students' rooms to the public in summers from end of June till mid September. I stayed there for a week when I arrived and was first searching for a flat. There is a huge amount of rooms and they are quite cheap mine was 25 pounds if I recall well. There are four different residences mine was on Finchley Road. The rooms are good, of course it is not fancy hotel style for example the showers are in the corridor. But you get for what you pay for and this is really an unbeatable price for Lond read more
            The Table
The Table is situated just next to the famous Tate Modern right next to the river. It's not a fancy place to eat but it does offer a descent quality knowing that it is extremely cheap here. Everything here is home made you've got a choice between a small snack like a sandwich or a small pie or you can really have a decent meal and have a menu. What I often take here is the vegetarian hamburger with mushrooms and aubergine. For salad fans there is a salad bar where you can serve yourself. You can take place at their big read more
            The Dublin Castle
Wow, now this is a great pub to go, especially for music lovers. I brought a friend who is a big rock music fan to this pub and since he goes here at least once a week! So if you're also a fan watch out highly addictive place... Almost everyday of the week there are up to five different groups that play, the entrance fee is either 5 or 6 pounds depending on the day. The Cardigans a long time ago and the Arctic Monkeys more recently once gave a small concert here at the Dublin Castle. Who knows, maybe the band you'll s read more
            The End
The End was the Mecca of clubbers! I say was because the End has closed it's doors since Jan 2009. It's a pitty cause this club was legendary... read more

I was really pleased; I had found THE place I was looking for! Salsa! is not only a place for beginners there are many people with a very good level who dance here.
