Topshop and Topman is a great place to go shopping, not as expensive as people say so you can get a normal pair of jeans for 30 pounds and the choice is very broad. There are many different Topshops in London but I think that this one on Oxford Circus is the biggest.
In 2007 Kate Moss dressed entirely with Topshop clothes, the Topshop director Philip Green gave her 3 million pounds to do so! I wouldn't mind wearing Topshop for that price either :-)

Vidal Sassoon have several hair academies in the London area. This particular school is for those who are interested in getting a more traditional hair cut. You can call here to make an appointment and you can either sign up for a hair cut or color treatment.
I really enjoyed this place, but I also don't think it is for everyone. Appointment times will be quite inflexible, as you can only get an appointment when the students are in their teaching sessions. Furthermore, since the people that are cutting your hair are stud read more
This is a nice pub right at the upper tip of Angel. The Sunday Roast I had was really good, it seemed quite authentic and the prices were 2 for 1...so I ended up not feeling like I spent tons of money for a lazy Sunday afternoon.
The bar is two floors. The ground floor is a bit more rowdy than the level below. Sitting upstairs is nice if you want a more talkative lively environment. Downstairs had large sections with bigger tables and booths so that you could sit and enjoy a meal that was more intimate than what you woul read more
I really liked this place. They seemed to have enough servers so that one person was not overwhelmed at any point in time. When ordering drinks, the wait was so minimal I would be shocked at how quickly people would come back with several pints of beer.
This place was a bit smaller, but cozy. Definitely a good place to go if you want to have a chat with a friend over a pint. We were here later on a Sunday evening, so I'm not sure what the place is like during the week or on Friday/Saturday.

I was on a mission to find some reasonably priced jeans. Uniqlo was recommended to me by several friends, so I went here to see what they could offer.
I wasn't disappointed! Tons of jeans at an affordable price! I think the most expensive pair was 25 pounds, and they offer a free tailoring service if you need the jeans to be hemmed, and it normally will only take them 20 minutes.
The store is Japanese, so the clothes are known for being designed for the more typically petite Asian bodies...which is something to bear read more
This pub offers a bit more variety than most other British pubs that I've come across in London. The Abbey Tavern has the normal pub fare, fully equipped to serve you beers (they call it a beer garden), mixed drinks, wine...etc.
But this pub has soo much more! They offer a really excellent variety of food...the menu has regular pub food in addition to some more exotic Caribbean dishes like Jerk Chicken! Most of the meals won't run you over 9 pounds...unless you order the lobster.

I really like this place! I used to have an internship near Brick Lane and we would go here on our lunch break sometimes. The food is quick, but really really tasty and not too expensive either.
Leon has a very trendy edge that you can taste in their food...it is not the typical Indian fare, nor is it your typical quick take away items either...it is the perfect blend of both! The service is friendly and fast and the quality is high, especially when considering that you get your food in literally a minute or two.

This is a trendy little bar located on Stoke Newington/Church Street. The area has the great flair of Hackney, with little boutiques and vintage shops and Ryan's fits right in!
The place is pretty small but it does have 2 or 3 large television screens, making it the perfect place to watch latest tournament or football match. When I went there was an Arsenal game going on, and practically everyone in the bar was starring at the TV. If you aren't into sports, then be sure that you go on a night where an important game isn' read more
Located in Angel, this place is a very typical pub. I must admit for being located in Angel I was slightly unimpressed, given that there are so many other unique places to try in the area. There is a dark and dingy feel that any self respecting pub would have, but in my opinion it didn't stick out from any of the other pubs that I have been to.
The wine was also over priced, so if you aren't a beer drinker, then you should steer clear all together. However, there was nothing overtly off putting about the place, the servi read more
If you are a shoe person then this place is a must see!! I was able to buy two pairs of boots here at half price...and was even able to bargain the prices down a bit further since they were the last pairs in the store!!
The prices are comparable to most shoe stores in London, but the discounts are fantastic! This store in Camden was completely packed when I went. You can check for discounts online and see if there are any shoes that you might like...and there are lots of locations in London, so you can call around to see read more
