            Old Blue Last
A good pub to have an original night out. I had never gone to this pub but as quite a few friends of mine kept talking about this place I gave it a shot. I must say that the Old Blue Last is an interesting place I was there when there was a party and the atmosphere was good. The people who go there are quite young and poshy but they know how to have a good time. The drinks are quite expensive but hey that London. At the far end you'll find a juke-box that rhyms the whole pub! read more

5 out of 5 definitely! This is probably my favorite place to go dancing in London. If you feel in a dancy mood late on a Sunday the Mother Bar is the place to go, it just never closes! The place is well decorated there is a big dancing floor and there is also a little room where you can sit down and chill out. All the people here are here to have a good time so just relax and dance to the music. As you'll see this venue is always always packed but it just means that this is the place everyone wants to go! The Mother Ba read more
            Bricklayers Arms
The Bricklayers Arms is an old cozy pub where people are more calmed down than in the other bars of the neighbourhood. I'd say it's the perfect place to start your evening off. People are quite young here I'd say just under their 30s I think many people from the banking community come here to decompress and change their ideas from a long hard week of work. Well at least thats what all my banking friends do and that's what I did last week with them. We started our evening here by warming up and taking a few pints then we went read more
            Gordon's Wine Bar
The Gordon's Wine Bar will be packed at the exit of working time and will be filled with business men with loosened ties coming to relax after a hard day of work. Here there are no surprises the specialty is wine! The wine comes from all over the world but I'd say that there is a strong tendency for french wines. You can get wines from a large range of prices depending on the type and the age of the wine but if you're not after a Bordeaux from 1980 the prices stay quite reasonable. You can eat some olives, bread and some che read more
            Na Zdrowie Polish Bar
Na Zdrowie which means cheers in Plolish is the name of this Polish resto bar. You can have more than 60 types of vodka here some taste like fruit others like coffee... The choice is hard and becomes even more complicated when you've already had too many... I think this is a perfect place to boost up your evening, if you feel a little lazy and you feel like ending the night by just going home well Na Zdrowie is the place you need to go. You go in all slow and lazy and you'll come out all motivated and drunk and ready to read more
            Museum Tavern
This is where George Orwell would come and have a drink after a day of work at the British museum study room. The Museum tavern is a warm an cozy pub and its very traditional like. It's a great place to escape the windy winter and have a warm tea... The tavern is mostly frequented by students coming from King's college I guess and also by tourists. Prices are reasonable for a well situated pub. An honest place I would highly recommend. read more
            Sports Cafe
I heard so much about the Sports café on Haymarket, I heard it was THE place in London to go watch a football game or basically any sport that is shown on tv. So I decided to check it out when I wanted to see Man U against Inter Milan for the Champions League. The game was on at 7.45pm and I arrived at around 7.20pm and I was meeting with a friend to see the game. I had to pay an entry fee of 3 pounds and I also had to buy a drink straight away. I was eventually going to buy a drink but I wasn't expecting to have to do read more
            Caffe Nero
For those who don't know Caffe Nero it's like a Starbucks or a Costa. There are a few differences like Caffe Nero always has free water just next to where you get the sugar. Caffe Nero like it's name says is really based on the coffee, so you're not going to get all the lunch stuff there like sandwiches but you are going to get more choice with the brownies, cakes, ... and of course the cafe is really good. Almost all Caffe Neros are the same however this one on Long Acre (very close to Covent Garden) is always full and read more
