            World Food Café
The World food café is the place to come to try different types of cuisines all around the world. This place is definitely a vegetarian’s paradise! The food goes from Turkish Mezze to Egyptian falafels passing by the Indian thalis. The kitchen is open on the main dinning room which is very big and from there you can see Neal’s Yard. The World food café is closed on Sundays and is easy to find it isn’t very far from the Covent Garden tube station. read more
            Bar Chocolate
The Bar Chocolate is a sort of bar/restaurant/café which is actually quite trendy. The decoration is minimalist and there are some huge sofas which gives the place a nice chill out look. At the Bar Chocolate there are mostly people around 30 years old and slightly intellectual. The kitchen here isn’t very sophisticated but you can grab a mezze or a tortilla or a decent breakfast. If you’re looking for a trendy place to chill out you now know where to go! The Bar Chocolate is easy to find it is right on d’Arblay Stre read more
            Food For Thought
This place is THE vegetarian reference of Covent Garden and you can tell so just by looking at the huge line up at the front door. Each day the Food for Thought offers different meals; vegetable quiches, mixed salads, delicious sandwiches, and many more… There are a few tables in the underground level but it is hard to get a free table there but who knows everybody thinks the place is packed so they don’t even check to see if the places are taken inside and they might just be free! However most of the people don’t even read more
            Masala Zone
Masala zone is a cheap Indian fast food like restaurant chain. The quality is acceptable but is far from being great especially in London where there is a huge amount of delicious Indian restaurant. This Masala zone in particular is quite entertaining; it is very big and is on various levels. Even if the place was cheap I really wasn’t satisfied next time I’m going to go for Indian I’ll head for Brick Lane. This restaurant is in between Oxford Circus and Piccadilly Circus tube station. read more
This little restaurant called Govinda’s is a really peace and love place and is a perfect place to calm down from the most stressfull road of London (Oxford Street). This vegetarian is pretty cheap for what it has to offer my favourite would probably be the thalis and second would be the veggi burger. The Govinda’s is an honest little place that I love going to again and again. read more
            La Trouvaille
This little wine bar is on Newburgh Street a perpendicular to Carnaby Street. The wine menu isn’t very long but the saying “it’s not the quantity but the quality which counts” is well represented here! Most of the wines come from France and are a very good choice. You can ask for a small something to eat but at the first level there is a proper restaurant you can go to after having an appetizer. I would advise you to make a reservation at La Trouvaille because it was always packed each time I went there. read more
            Momo
The Mômo is small Moroccan tea Room and Bazaar which looks like an authentic Souq; copper plates, beautiful lanterns, leather sofas and lovely colourful rugs. This is a perfect place to smoke the Hookah (or Shisha whatever you call it) and sip a delicious Moroccan tea. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the waiters are nice and not stressed at all. read more
            Leon
The Leon is a café entirely dedicated to smoothies! So a smoothie for those who do not know what it is it’s a mix of different fruits and fruit jus mixed with a blender and sometimes you can add yoghurt to it. You’ll find some for every moment of the day and for every situation; some for your breakfast, others like the power smoothie for just before going out… I wasn’t really a smoothie fan before coming to Leon but now I must admit that I really appreciate having one and I pass very often by Leon cause I really thi read more
            The Coal Hole
Over a hundred years ago the Coal Hole used to be a pub where Coal miners would go and have a drink after work. Now the people coming to the Coal Hole are more local workers or the Charing Cross and Covent Garden area. This pub is packed at lunch time and when working times are over however on the other hand it is pretty empty during the evenings, it just becomes to noisy and impossible to find a free table. The decoration is pretty nice it has a nice imaginary touch to it. The food here is quite decent you can get a dis read more
            Revival Records
The Revival Records is definitely the place to go if you are a fan of old vinyls and second hand CDs. The choice is very broad: soul, rock, pop, disco, funk, dance, house, techno, drum’n’bass, and of course great music from the sixties and the seventies. The Revival Records is open every day of the week except Sundays and you’ll find the shop easily it’s on Berwick Street close to Oxford Circus. read more
